Jad: An aspiring (yet cocky) comics fan and artist hoping to make it big in Lebanon by publishing his long-prophesied, epic graphic novel debut. With it, he hopes to elevate comics in the minds of the Lebanese from “kids thing” to “legitimate art form”, a feat that would frustrate even the mightiest of superheroes.
Bilal: One of Jad’s best friends, a hardcore gamer with an untamable competitive spirit and some wicked hand-eye coordination. From Call of Duty to Pac-Man, he’s up for it all, ready to grab life by the joystick and kick some ass.
Tanya: Another of Jad’s best friends, a dedicated otaku (fan of anime, manga, and Japanese culture). If it’s Japanese, she’s probably read it, seen it, and collected it. The katana that hangs on her bedroom wall may not be a mere ornament…
